OUR MISSION
The mission of the Vallecito Church is to conduct Christian worship services, to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, to encourage and aid the growth of individual Christians and to render Christian service to all persons.

This mission includes, but is not limited to the following:

Leading Christian worship in accordance with Psalms 96:6-9 and John 4:24, by preaching and teaching the Holy Bible, praying, singing, and sharing together.

Conducting Christian evangelism and missionary outreach to the local community and the world based upon Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8.  This may include providing facilities for government and community activities.

Providing for Christian service activities in the community and throughout the world to address needs based on Matthew 25:31-46.  Examples are providing clothing and food for the poor and homeless and providing programs and events relevant to local, national and world needs.

Providing opportunities for personal growth and pastoral care, Christian fellowship and mutual support based on Matthew 11:28-30.  These ministries could include marriage and family counseling, pastoral counseling, weddings, receptions, funerals and memorial services, youth activities and opportunities for personal study.

Providing programs for Christian education, discipleship, nurture and growth based on Ephesians 4:11-12, and Colossians 3:16.  These activities could include offering college and seminary courses; Bible study classes for children, youth and adults; and discipleship training and spiritual development classes.
